Will the NY Times and others now apologise to the Pope and the CDF ?

I do not think they will. But they should in regard to their stories about the Lawrence Murphy case.

I wonder if the BBC or The Times and The Sunday Times will too?

  1. I sent a message to the BBC asking them to comment and apologise. I also said I did not think they would. I think it is a good idea to make the point. If I get no reply I will send another email.

  2. Excellent.

Yesterday I sent an email to THe Sunday Times about a leader article about Pope Benedict which was hysterical and vindictive. The email detailed all the points about the Italian translation of the CDF memorandum. Needless to say it has not been published.

The BBC will probably ignore the matter hoping that other news will simply drown out anything about the matter and will simply continue as if nothing had happened.

However like you I think it is important to "spread the word" as an attempt (admittedly very small) to correct the evil that the mass media has perpetrated in this matter.
